Quinceañera Invitations
When my friend Sarah asked me to photographer her daughters Quinceañera this April I was so excited. The first reason because I would be photographing some of my friends and their family celebrating the beauty of their little girl growing up (what could be better than sharing in your friends' celebrations), but also because I have never photographed a Quinceañera before. On this day we did a couple photos for the invitations. Arianna is so beautiful and she made me remember how fun studio shoots can be.
Maternity Session - Mandy and Robert
This day was a miracle all in itself because 30 minutes after shooting this session, it started raining and even hailing a little. I took them to a location that I love and apparently mother nature was happy I did, because the sun peaked around the clouds, I think, just for them. It was cold and Robert was a trooper, they were up for anything for a good photo, couple after my own heart for sure.
Maternity Session - Mariah and Andrew
Each maternity session is different. No two bellies are the same. I love that. It is almost as if each belly has a personality of it's own. I feel as a photographer I need to help each mom-to-be not only get beautiful photos but to make those photos an extension of her and her soon to be bundle of joy. I had the best time photographing these two and their emotion and love for each other jumps out of each picture, emotion is something that can't be photo-shopped..

Maternity Session - Elea and Josh
Here is a recent maternity session with Josh and Elea. I have had the pleasure of working with this couple for the past couple years. I have Photographed their wedding, their daughter, and soon their son, but first, it is belly before baby. Enjoy!

Adelaide - 1 year old
Adelaide and her mother and father came to my studio for 1 year pictures. Unfortunately the poor thing had a cold and was not in the best of moods. With the help of daddy holding up her favorite toys and making goofy faces to make her laugh and mom on back-up I think we pulled off the shoot and got some great shots. She was a trooper... and mom and dad weren't so bad themselves.

Baby Addison - 6 months old
This cute little cheerleader to be was decked out in her Gonzaga best when she arrived at my studio. She was all smiles and very content being the center of attention. I am so happy to be doing what I do. I get to take pictures of cute little girls like this and actually call it a job. I think they should re-title that word, at least in my case, maybe more like can't-believe-I-get-to-do-this. It is going to be a great year.

Baby Bella... the puppy
Okay... so this is my first all dog photo-shoot. I have had many couples and family's include their puppies and pets into photos, but I had not had the chance to take a puppy to my studio until now... and I think I want to do more. This shoot was so much fun, and the Bella was so patient that it only took me about an hour to get all the photos I needed.... she was perfect.... I may need to go buy a Yorkie now.
Newborn - Reese
Here is one of the sweetest little boys... He may have given me a little bit of trouble to get him to fall asleep. An hours worth to be exact, but it was worth it. Once he was asleep I think he could of slept through an earthquake. Most babies don't want to stay awake but at 10 days old baby Reese just wanted to show me his beautiful eyes, so I took advantage of that as well. The best time to take newborn photos is about 6 to 10 days old, when they want to sleep because they tend to be better posers... these pictures are to die for. I love them.
